Purpose
This software product allows you to setup a system for automatic filing of scanned and electronic documents using the information that is in a bar code within the document to dictate how the document will be named and filed.

Overview
Amplios Document Filer automatically renames and files a wide variety of document files (BMP, JPG, PDF, TIF, DOC, XLS, RTF, and more) according to the value of a linear bar code in the document. The application reads documents from an input folder, moves the original document to another folder for archiving or deleting, and creates new documents in an output folder. The original documents are not modified or deleted at the time the new document is created. The user can specify criteria for automatic deletion at a future time and date. The newly created document can be exactly the same as the original document with the only change being that the name of the document is based on the linear bar code value. The software can also create new compressed and encrypted files with password protection from the original file with the newly created file still based on the bar code in the document. When the program is running it continually monitors from 1 to 32 different folder sets for new documents in the input folders and processes them immediately or on a schedule that you create. The cost of license registration for a single user is $150. Every license comes with the availability of online support. There is no time limit on the license and the cost for optional future upgrades is $75. Users can request a temporary license which gives them full access to all the program features for two weeks to complete an evaluation before they purchase a license.
